NUPH publishes peer-reviewed scientific books that are specialized in security disciplines. The publishing process is made according to the approved regulations, policies, and procedures of the Security Research Center (SRC) and Scientific Periodicals Administration.
Security Studies Series
NUPH publishes the security studies series that includes specialized studies and reports for serving the decision-making in the fields of security in its comprehensive concept. This series is prepared for the Arab Interior Minister Council (AIMC) and the relevant entities. It is worth mentioning that this series is not for the open access publishing or for sale.
Translated Security Books
NUPH is concerned with the publishing of security books that are translated from foreign languages to Arabic. The books translated by NAUSS will adhere to the translation regulations stated in the translation rights agreements made with the international publishers.
Security Reports Series
The informative security reports provide policymakers with crucial insights into prevailing security challenges, enabling them to proactively address the latest developments. Not only do these reports convey information, but they also proffer strategic solutions provided to university partners through specialized consultations
Security Booklet Series
The Security Booklet aims to disseminate and simplify security culture for the general public, combining facts, analyses, and new insights to make security sciences easily readable and understandable.
The Open Access Peer-Reviewed Scientific Periodicals
NUPH publishes various peer-reviewed scientific periodicals that are specialized in the fields of security in its comprehensive concept. It adopts the open access policy under the license (CC BY-NC 4.0), offers services for researchers by enabling them to provide their scientific contributions to be published in NAUSS’s periodicals via Scientific Periodicals Platform, and provides the opportunity for accessing the full texts of its scientific periodicals’ articles.
Open Access Security Policy Papers
NUPH publishes the security policy papers that include the Security Policy Analysis and Security Policy Briefs which are of interest to the decision-makers and the public. The security policy papers offer the basic information that assists in understanding and encountering the issues or problems and highlights the alternatives and options related to policies. Moreover, the security policy papers provide clear evaluations for the potential outcomes and present arguments supported by the scientific real evidence for sustaining their recommendations and advocating their options as the best possible ones.
